Do I need to purchase a meal plan?
If you are living on Campus you have a choice from the 19 meal plan, or the 15 meal plan. In addtion to these plans Beacon offers the 25 Block Commuter Plan. This plan will allow the commuter students to purchase 25 meal throughout the semester.
What are Flex Dollars?
Flex Dollars carry a value like a prepaid debit card with funds kept on a separate card from your dining one. Flex Dollars may be used at any on-campus dining location.
Do Flex Dollars carry over from year to year?
They are carried over from the fall to the spring semester, but they do not carry over from year to year.
Can I purchase a meal plan if I live off campus?
If you live off-campus, you can purchase a traditional 19 meal plan or the 15 meal plan, or even our newest 25 Block Commuter Plan through the Office of Student Housing. We have also designed a special Discretionary Flex Card just for you! Enjoy the convenience of having funds to shop at The Navigator Cafe, or treat a friend to lunch with your Discretionary Flex Card, you can add funds on Sodexomyway deposits start at just $25.
